But how important is the edgebanding of a piece of furniture? In addition to the design, materials and other characteristics, the edges are essential in determining the value of the furniture.<\/p>

If the edges are made of natural veneer, they will look more natural, but it will be a more delicate piece of furniture. On the other hand, if the edges are made of PVC or ABS, they will be more resistant, but the quality will be defined by other factors:<\/p>

The thickness, not on all sides of the board the same thickness is used, sometimes for furniture interiors or backs are used edges of 0.4 mm or 0.6 mm. In order to choose a higher quality furniture, always depending on the use that we are going to give, we will have to choose the edgebanding of 0.8mm as a minimum.<\/p>

Current designs and with a lasting impression, the furniture with current and trendy designs are of greater value, although before the design we will have to look for its durability. The design on melamine paper is not decorated in the same way as the edge of a piece of furniture, so you should look for a PVC and ABS edgebanding that will withstand the passage of time and cleaning products.<\/p>
