And why is 2 mm PVC Edgebanding so popular?
En primer lugar, porque el canteado PVC y ABS son, sin duda, la herramienta más extendida para proteger los bordes de los tableros de melamina ante los roces, los golpes y los cambios de temperatura y humedad. En ese sentido, esos dos milímetros corresponden al espesor del tapacanto, es decir, el grosor de la lámina que se cantea sobre el propio tablero.

As far as 2 mm PVC Edgebanding is concerned, it lies somewhere in between the 1 and 3 centimetre options, and the choice of one or the other generally depends on the relevant regulations regarding the appropriate furnishing of certain spaces. And these are different for offices, hospitals or nursery schools, to name but a few examples.
