In the last update of the Egger catalogue we added about 30 new unicolours, from various types of white with new finishes to different types of black and its finishes, along with shades ranging from pink, blue, green, etc ... as manufacturers of edge band tape we have been crossing over these two years the designs of the new Egger catalogue, and although our program of countertypes guarantees maximum customer loyalty and satisfaction, we have already crossed all the new products of the brand.
The unicolour designs are the ideal complement to create unique combinations, their sober design is ideal to combine with designs that would otherwise overload the environment, wood tones with a lot of grain, stone, marble or cement type fantasies, without forgetting the touch of colour in children's or youth bedrooms.
The edge band tape has to blend in perfectly with the board, any change in colour, texture or gloss could be too evident in a unicolour design, which is why it is really important to analyse these boards and study their colourimetry and luminosity. The biggest problem we find in the manufacture of edge band tape is the difference in raw materials for the manufacture of boards, melamine paper, and for the manufacture of edge band tape, plastic materials such as PVC or ABS. The difference between these two materials is obvious, they have a different gloss and to protect the designs different types of varnishes and resins are used which can lighten, darken, or give a yellow or green tone, all these additives to the plastic have to be measured to the millimetre so that these conditions do not affect the final colourimetry study.
Our specialists study all these conditions to ensure that the edge band tape is perfect. In addition, we work with matt and ultra matt varnish finishes to achieve a gloss of 4°, ideal for PerfectSense Matt and PerfectSense Topmatt, as well as the classic high gloss or soft finish.
