We visited the new Kronospan plant in Tortosa and the Design Center in Barcelona.

At Protecnic we are fortunate to collaborate with different companies such as board manufacturers, furniture manufacturers and distributors who trust us to perfect their finishes and offer a quality product.

On this occasion we have witnessed two inaugurations at the same time, the new panel plant in Tortosa and the Design center en Barcelona of our colleagues from Kronospan.

With them, we visited the new industrial plant built in Tortosa. This plant, responsible for the treatment, manufacture and logistics of its boards, has 25 hectares of land and is 100% sustainable, being able to process wood waste to manufacture new boards, with a philosophy of sustainability incorporating solar panels to power the production lines with clean and renewable energy.

A few days before its inauguration, we also had the opportunity to attend the design space they have in Barcelona. In this Design Centre, we were able to discover all the new board innovations that Kronospan is preparing for 2024. We also had the opportunity to share our work and impressions with colleagues from the furniture sector.

At Protecnic we have already introduced the Kronospan edgebanding collection for the latest Kronospan board collections such as Global 3.0, Express, Most Preferred or Invisible Touch among others. Wherever we go we leave our mark, and this year we want to make an official presentation, changing our packaging to offer a luxury experience to each of our customers and colleagues in the sector.

We are edgebanding manufacturers, and as the entire production process of our product is manufactured in our facilities in Castalla (Alicante), we are able to reproduce any board design. We have a programme of counter-typing and samples to ensure maximum design reliability. In addition, you can consult all our designs on our website through our cross-reference chart.
